This metal regulator can be used to adjust the charging voltage and replaces the original regulator and rectifier.
It is attached to the installation location of the diode plate, which is then no longer required. Due to the adjustable voltage output, the regulator can be used very well in combination with modern gel or non-rechargeable batteries, which can thus be optimally utilized to keep sufficient voltage available for the starter motor at all times.

Due to the same dimensions and mounting holes, the regulator is used as a direct replacement for the existing Bosch diode plate on Moto Guzzi, Benelli or BMW, the original Bosch regulator is no longer required. The connection is made using commercially available 6.3 mm flat receptacles (included in the scope of delivery)
