Speedometers & Instruments

Speedometers and instruments for café racer motorbikes are generally kept simple and functional in order to do justice to the minimalist design of the bike. Analogue round instruments are often used, in keeping with the retro charm of a classic café racer.

The instruments are usually limited to the essentials, such as speed and revs, sometimes supplemented by small indicator lights. Aluminium or chrome housings are common, matching the rest of the bike's aesthetics. Some riders also integrate modern digital displays built into a classic housing to combine modern functionality with vintage style.
