All our one-armed mandrels give you the possibility to secure your motorcycle 100% on the mandrel. What does that mean?

The safety device prevents the arbor from slipping out or slipping off unintentionally from the mounting hole of the single-sided swing arm of your motorcycle! Most one-arm stands do not have this safety device. Here a falling over of the motorcycle becomes more probable than with one of our models!

First, the mandrel is inserted from the chain side into the one-arm hole up to the stop! the motorcycle is still standing on the side stand.

Then you can secure it from the opposite side with the enclosed screw and sharp washer. The enclosed distance serves to compensate for the length of the different grain widths!

Despite this safety device, you can still change the wheel in this position. The counter-locked washer is smaller than the core diameter of the rear wheel lock nut. This means that you do not have to give up the safety device for changing the wheel!

Often people ask why the arbor is so short, but here is the answer: it cannot be longer because the arbor holes in the motorcycle scars are no longer, or they may become smaller towards the inside.

The exception can be found in the BMW arbors. Here, very large through cylindrical locating holes are available. These are then taken up by long arbors.

Please check the bore diameter of your single-sided swing arm before ordering!
