The Helite airbag waistcoat is preferred by motorcyclists who want to continue using their existing motorbike jacket. The great advantage of the Airnest is its universal applicability. You only need one airbag waistcoat for the entire season, regardless of the outside temperature or the destination, and are therefore very flexible.
The Airnest is lightweight, compact and always with you. Their elaborate processing guarantees a long service life. The 17-24 liters of protective volume (depending on size) provide protection for the neck, spine, chest, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone and internal organs.
In addition to the airbag system, the vest has a high-quality KNOX back protector, which can be optionally removed. The inside of the vest has 3D Air Mesh for optimal ventilation. At all three closure buckles, the width of the vest can be individually regulated.

The release
The release is done via a ripcord that is firmly connected to the vehicle and is plugged into the waistcoat when mounting and dismounting. Unintentional deployment by forgetting to release the ripcord when dismounting from the vehicle is almost impossible, as a force of 30kg (300N) is required to deploy the airbag. By simply replacing the CO2 cartridge, the waistcoat is immediately ready for use again.
When triggered, the system has the optimum pressure after 80-100 milliseconds (depending on size) to develop the full protective effect. This time period has been determined based on Helite's years of experience and numerous calculations and tests to provide the optimum pressure to protect the body at the exact moment of impact. Already during the release process, when the full pressure has not yet been reached, important parts of the body are protected.
