Alternators

An alternator is a central component of the motorcycle that provides power to the electrical system. It converts the mechanical energy of the engine into electrical energy, which is needed for the headlights, battery and other electrical components. Inside the alternator, a rotating magnet in combination with copper coils generates alternating current, which is then converted into direct current by a controller.

Modern alternators are powerful and efficient, so they provide enough energy even at low engine speeds. A well-functioning alternator is important to ensure that the motorcycle runs reliably even at night and in changing conditions.
