The coupling of the rotor and bell (without a bushing) enables a more effective transmission of the braking torque and improves resistance to thermomechanical stress. The Brembo Racing T-DRIVE system allows for both radial and axial floating movements and reduces the overall weight of the disc, resulting in significantly improved driving characteristics. The braking surface, consisting of the same steel discs used in MotoGP and SBK, has been optimized both by reducing the height (for easier movement) and by redistributing the arrangement of the holes (with different diameters). The bell also contributes significantly to the end result: it is made of a light metal alloy, manufactured using CNC machining, and is designed for lightness and rigidity.
