A true revolution in protection and fall detection!
The electronic airbag waistcoat uses multi-sensor detection to provide a full analysis of the situation and complete 360° protection. For the complete and optimal Full Protection, it is strongly recommended to install a second sensor (SDU) on the fork of the motorbike (only up to max. 56mm fork diameter). This option makes it possible to reduce the detection time from 60 ms (only by sensors in the waistcoats) to 31 ms even at standstill, low speed and regardless of the angle of impact.
The new e-Turtle is based on the Turtle 2.0 airbag waistcoat. Only the mechanical triggering unit has been replaced by an electronic one! The e-Turtle as well as the Turtle 2.0 contain the high-quality SAS-TEC Level 2 back protector, which is fitted over the airbag like a turtle shell. Point loads in the back area are thus effectively distributed over the entire airbag and absorbed. The protection is therefore many times higher than with a standard airbag.

The Turtle airbag systems demonstrate their technological advantage particularly in the event of impact against pointed and sharp-edged objects, such as a crash barrier, a branch or a motorbike part. During deployment, the system has the optimum pressure after 80-100 milliseconds (depending on the size) in order to develop the full protective effect. The 17-28 litres (depending on size) of protective volume offer protection for the neck, spine, thorax, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone and internal organs. By simply replacing the e-cartridge, the waistcoat is immediately ready for use again.
