The Touring 2.0 jacket is the optimal clothing for safety-conscious touring riders. Highly abrasion-resistant Cordura in combination with a Humax climate membrane ensure waterproofness and windproofness with simultaneous breathability. At the same time, well thought-out components such as ventilation zips, numerous pockets, soft collar and a removable thermal lining ensure increased wearing comfort. The fit can be individually adjusted by means of a width adjustment on the upper and lower arm as well as double waist straps. The attached reflective strips also ensure greater visibility in dark weather.
The Touring 2.0 jacket uses the Helite TURTLE airbag system. With this design, the high-quality SAS-TEC Level 2 back protector is attached like a turtle shell over the airbag. This means that, in addition to the protection provided by the airbag itself, punctual loads are distributed over the entire airbag in the back area and absorbed. The protection is therefore many times higher than with a standard airbag. In addition, the jacket has KNOX protectors on the shoulders and elbows, which can be removed as an option.

The 17-28 litre protective volume (depending on size) provides protection for the neck, spine, rib cage, pelvis, coccyx, head, collarbone and internal organs. The release is done by means of a leash that is firmly connected to the vehicle and is plugged into the jacket when getting on and off. An unintentional release by forgetting the release of the leash when getting off the vehicle is very unlikely, as a force of 300Nm (30Kg) is needed to activate the airbag.
By replacing the CO2 cartridge, the jacket is immediately ready for use again. When the system is discharged, it has the optimum pressure after 80-100 milliseconds (depending on the size) in order to develop the full protective effect. This time span has been determined by Helite's years of experience and numerous calculations and tests in order to provide the optimum pressure to protect the body at the exact moment of impact. Important parts of the body are already protected during the ejection process, when the full pressure has not yet been reached.
Notes on the Textile Labelling Ordinance: The outer material (without airbag) is composed of the following textiles: 75% polyamide, 24% polyester, 1% elastane. The inner material is composed of: 50% polyester, 49% polyamide, 1% elastane.
