All bearings around chain and cardan drive - If it no longer runs smoothly or vibrations or unsightly noises come from the drivetrain, worn bearings are often in the responsibility. Major damage or failures are then already foreseeable and can be avoided by replacing the defective bearings.
If, for example, the cardan shaft or sprocket have play, we recommend a thorough inspection of the bearings. Also occurring noises such as humming or whining should not be taken lightly.
If the cage is worn, the bearing rings are broken due to excessive impact forces or damage is evident on the running surfaces, new bearings are inevitable. Metal chips or small fragments also indicate heavy wear.
