We have a huge selection of helmets from well-known manufacturers and brands such as Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Büse, ROCC, Scorpion, Nolan, Grex and X-Lite. Of course, we also offer matching accessories such as visors, goggles, hearing protection and much more.
The right helmet size is the be-all and end-all
In order for the helmet to fit comfortably and provide optimal protection, it is important to determine the right size beforehand.
If you don't own a helmet yet and therefore don't know your size, measure your head circumference with a tape measure. To do this, put it around your head in the area of your forehead, just above your ears. Since the helmets from our various manufacturers vary in size, it is essential to try them on beforehand.
A motorbike helmet must fit tightly around the entire head, but must not pinch anywhere. When the helmet is turned, the scalp on the forehead should shift along with it.
If the helmet is too big, it can slip and increase the risk of injury in the event of a fall. Therefore, no two fingers should fit between the helmet and the head in the forehead area and it should not be possible to turn the head while the helmet is held in place. Also, if it can be pulled out even though the chin strap is closed, it has been chosen too big.
If the helmet is too small, it can cause pressure points and even pain in the long run. If the chin straps can only be closed with a lot of tension and the helmet shell even significantly restricts the field of vision, then it is also too small.
