RR oil temperature direct indicator®

Engine oil only develops its full lubricating capacity from a temperature of 80 °C. Unfortunately, the temperature display in the cockpit often signals the optimum operating temperature a little too early. However, with a high-quality RR Oil Temperature Gauge®, the exact temperature can be read within seconds without any problems. The RR-Öltemperatur-Direktanzeiger® is simply replaced with the existing oil filler plug or oil dipstick on the motorcycle.

RR Oil Temperature Gauge®

• Dial available in white, black, yellow or red
• In Celsius (measuring range 20 °C to 140 °C)
• Makrolon or glass viewing panel
• Dial gauge made of polished stainless steel or black chrome-plated (Blackline series)
• Due to its design, the measuring rod is also a dipstick in some cases
• Completely vibration-damped to prevent damage
• Is completely filled with oil for optimum damping (the visible air bubble is used for pressure equalization in the event of thermal fluctuations)
• Screw-in adapter made of bare aluminum or finished in black
• Depending on the engine type, the temperature is measured directly in the oil bath or indirectly via the centrifugal oil

According to the magazine Motorrad 01.2020, the RR Oil Temperature Direct Indicator® is the most accurate thermometer in the test with minimal deviation in the upper third (1 percent).
