MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE

MOTUL RBF 660 is a fully synthetic brake fluid based on polyglycol.

For all types of hydraulically actuated brake and clutch systems that require a silicone-free synthetic fluid. Specially developed for thermally highly stressed carbon and ceramic brakes in racing. Reduces the air inlets required for brake cooling to a minimum. Suitable for all brake systems (steel, ceramic or carbon brake discs) currently used in racing. Can also be used in conventional brake and hydraulic clutch systems.

Exceeds the requirements of the DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards, with the exception of viscosity at -40°C / -40°F.
Exceeds conventional brake fluids based on polyglycol (DOT 3, DOT 4, DOT 5.1)

SPECIAL ADVANTAGES / APPLICATION NOTES

• Miscible with all DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 polyglycol-based brake fluids, but not recommended. Avoid mixing with less powerful polyglycol-based brake fluids.
• Extremely high dry boiling point of 325°C (617°F) compared to other silicone or polyglycol based products allows safe braking even under extreme operating conditions.
• Very high wet boiling point of 205°C (401°F) compared to other silicone/polyglycol based products. Exceeds the requirements of the standards DOT 5.1 on a silicone-free basis (180°C min / 356°F min) and DOT 4 (155°C min / 311°F min) and thus enables efficient braking.
• Under racing operating conditions, brakes are subjected to very high thermal loads, which is why MOTUL RBF 660 should be checked at least after every 2nd race and changed if necessary.
• Change the fluid at intervals in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and your own use.
• Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the ambient air. This reduces the boiling point. For this reason, MOTUL RBF 660 should only be stored under constant climatic conditions, carefully sealed in its original container.

WARNING: Not miscible with silicone-based brake fluids (DOT 5) and special fluids such as LHM. Fluid can attack the vehicle's paintwork.
