SEALING FOR COOLING CIRCUIT

MOTUL RADIATOR STOP LEAK seals water-cooled, closed cooling systems of modern petrol or diesel engines with direct injection with turbocharger as well as for conventional petrol engines with carburettor and without supercharging. Suitable for use in all water-cooled, closed cooling systems such as in commercial vehicles, passenger cars and other industrial heat exchangers. Does not clog and can be used on defective water coolers, leaking water pumps, heat exchangers, thermostats and radiator hoses.

ADVANTAGES

A tight cooling circuit is a prerequisite for optimum heat exchange and effective engine running. With the application of MOTUL RADIATOR STOP LEAK as needed, the coolant circuit can be sealed quickly with little work:

• quickly and effectively seals hairline cracks and minor leaks
• reduces engine temperature
• improves the performance of thermostats, valves and coolant pump
• compatible with all types of coolant (inorganic, hybrid, lobrid & OAT)

APPLICATION

One can of MOTUL RADIATOR STOP LEAK should be added to the coolant at operating temperature as required. Start the heater and set it to maximum heat output. Run the engine at operating temperature for approx. 10 minutes. Then check the coolant level and top up if necessary. If the level remains constant within the target range, the cooling system is sealed.

Caution: Open the cap on the expansion tank slowly and gradually - the system is under pressure, risk of burns!

300 ml are sufficient for up to 12 litres of coolant.
