With standard 1299 and 1299S it comes very often to connecting rod cracks when the motorcycles are moved sporty.
But this can be avoided by using the Carrillo connecting rods!
Due to their particularly good material and the special shape, they are much more stable than the originals.
This connecting rod is designed as a so-called ´drop-in´ connecting rod, but nevertheless it is always advisable to perform a fine balancing of the crankshaft once you have removed it.
