motogadget mo.button

The mo.button together with the mo.unit is a great help to reduce the `cable tangle` and simplify wiring harnesses.

With this tiny cylinder in the steering tube - or other suitable places - all handlebar fittings, switches and buttons are electrically connected.

The mo.button prepares the signals digitally and sends them via a single thin cable using state-of-the-art bus technology to the mo.unit blue, basic or mo.unit v.2.
There the consumers are then switched on and off.
All control cables go into the handlebars. This saves space, weight, work and time. A must for custom bikes with a clean look on the handlebars.

For understanding:

a) with `normal` wiring of the handlebar switches the working current (e.g. light/flasher) is led directly over the handlebar switch. Therefore, due to the current intensity, correspondingly large cable cross sections must be led from the fuse box to the switch and back to the consumer. This quickly results in thick wiring harnesses. For custom bikes with little space or hidden electrics a `No-Go`.

b) with the mo.unit without mo.button only a thin cable for each switch or button function would have to be routed to the mo.unit Only minimal control impulses are transmitted here. All large loads and currents are switched directly at the mo.unit and are fed directly to the consumer. A significant reduction and simplification of the wiring harness can already be achieved in this way.

c) the mo.unit blue, basic or mo.unit v.2 in combination with the tiny mo.button minimize the cable lengths to be laid once again! All switches/buttons on the handlebars are connected to the mo.button in the shortest possible way inside the handlebars. From the mo.button only ONE thin cable is then led to the mo.unit. The loads and currents are switched directly at the mo.unit as explained above. Less cable is not possible!

The mo.button is completely waterproof and vibration-proof encapsulated.
